Hot weather bin collections in Cheltenham

Due to the hot weather forecast on Tuesday 26, Wednesday 27, Thursday 28 and Friday 29 May, our collection teams will be starting their rounds from 6am instead of 7am. Councillor Steve Harvey, cabinet member for waste, recycling and green open spaces, said: "As a result of the hot weather our waste and recycling collections will start earlier than usual on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings....

The annual inauguration of the Mayor of Cheltenham was held at Cheltenham Town Hall at 6.30pm yesterday (Monday 18 May). Councillor Martin Horwood succeeds his predecessor, Dr David Willingham, and Councillor Mike Collins is deputy mayor. The mayor chairs the council and represents the borough at many local business and charity events throughout the year....
