Anyone hoping to stand in this year’s Cheltenham Borough elections needs to submit a nomination paper by 12 noon on 4 April 2012.
The official notice of election has now been published and twenty seats (one in each borough ward) are up for grabs. Polling day will take place on Thursday 3 May 2012.
To request a nomination pack, people can phone the council’s election team on 01242 264132 or call in to the Municipal Offices. Useful guides for candidates and agents can be found at the Electoral Commission website.
The names of those nominated will be published by noon on 10 April 2012 and may be available before.
