Local government strike action will go ahead on Wednesday 30 November.
Unison and GMB have notified Cheltenham Borough Council of their intention to take industrial action over changes to the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). The action is set to take place at councils throughout the country.
There will be no household or trade waste refuse or recycling collections on this day. Residents and trade waste customers who have missed their scheduled collection on Wednesday should place their waste and recycling containers out for collection on Thursday and the council will make the collections in the following days. Thursday and Friday collections will be as normal.
Due to the exceptional circumstances collection arrangements may be amended and it may not be possible to keep all materials segregated for recycling.
