The summer holidays don’t need to cost a fortune, as leisure@cheltenham reminds families that their children can swim free of charge.

Up to five children under the age of 16 can swim for free, with every paying adult.  Adults are charged £3.80.  The centre, based on Tommy Taylor’s Lane, boasts a 33-metre pool for family fun sessions, a diving pool and a teaching pool for parents and toddlers.

Concession card holders (under 16s, pensioners, disabled, unemployed and students) can all swim for a pound during the day, with the purchase of a concession card which is an annual cost of £5.80.

Stephen Petherick, commercial manager said:  ‘’It’s important that activities which promote health and wellbeing are affordable.  I am pleased that have such good offers for children and concession card holders and I hope it encourages them to come to the centre.  Summer holidays can be extremely expensive for parents but swimming costs very little, it’s great fun for youngsters and can be enjoyed in all weathers.’’

All offers are subject to an admissions policy and they do not apply to group bookings and parties.
