Leisure@cheltenham now offers pre-natal yoga classes, every Monday from 12.45 -1.30pm.
Ladies are welcome to come along to the classes which focus on strength, stamina and breath control to facilitate a joyful birth.
Dedicated instructors will guide expectant mums through a journey of yoga postures and breathing, specifically designed to help strengthen pelvic floor, uterus and back muscles, as well as improving circulation and digestion.
Suzanne Meaden, group exercise co-ordinator said: ''I am pleased that we can add these sessions into our great portfolio of fitness classes. I hope that expectant mums will come along and see for themselves the benefits that yoga can offer.''
The classes cost £5.50 per session and can be booked up to seven days in advance. Contact customer services on 01242 528764 for further details.
