A media statement from Cheltenham Borough Council in response to the false and untrue comments made about the Citrus Hotel:

The council has been made aware of a YouTube video and some social media posts related to the Citrus Hotel that claim the council has received money and invested in this property. We want to clarify these statements are false and untrue. The Citrus Hotel is a matter for the Home Office and we will be working with the Police and other partners to remove the video and where appropriate carry out an investigation into those creating and posting the content.
