Nominations sought for Cheltenham residents who give their time to help others or work to help make Cheltenham a better place to live.
Nominations are now open for the 2025 Cheltenham Medal of Honour. The medal recognises the voluntary contribution that local residents have made to their communities.
The nominations are considered by an independent panel and all information is treated on a confidential basis. The award is presented during the Inauguration of the Mayor ceremony which will be held on 12 May 2025.
The Medal of Honour recipient for 2024 was Mr David Bath, a local resident and community champion.
Mayor of Cheltenham, Councillor Paul Baker, says: “Our town is so very lucky to have so many amazing local people who selflessly give their time to help others, or who work to make Cheltenham a better place to live for our residents. The medal of honour is an important way of recognising those who really help to make a difference in our communities”.
“If you know someone who has volunteered in this way for at least ten years continuous service, please consider recognising their efforts them by nominating them for this annual award.”
