Play Gloucestershire children win NCLB award

#NCLBAwards2022 - Shining a light on projects that have made a difference!

We are proud to announce the 27 finalists and 8 sponsors our 2022 No Child Left Behind (NCLB) awards.

The annual celebration of the many organisations and projects that are supporting local children and families is being held on Thursday 26 January 2023 at Cheltenham Town Hall

This incredibly special event is once again being kindly brought to Cheltenham in association with Punchline-Gloucester.com.

There are six new inspiring award categories this year that will shine a light on how organisations and projects are adapting to some of the big issues facing the town, children and families.

Cllr Flo Clucas, member for communities and safety at Cheltenham Borough Council, said: “Our children mean a great deal to all of us and those organisations and people who have been involved. Through No Child Left Behind we are able to offer improved life chances and hope to our most disadvantaged children. It is what inspires organisations and businesses to help our Cheltenham communities. It is a great privilege to work with them and for our children and young people.

“The awards have new categories and there is so much to celebrate including all those who have given their time, money and resources to make a difference. Cheltenham should be proud of every one of them and I look forward to the awards in January, which would not be possible if it weren’t for our fantastic sponsors.

“I am really pleased to welcome Infrastar as our headline sponsor, their support is really valued and we look forward to working with them.”

Mark Owen, editor of Punchline Gloucester, said: "I'm really proud to be able to be involved in this year's awards and to be able to help as much as we can in supporting these fantastic organisations who are making such a difference to children and families."
