All collections delayed by one day and household recycling centre on Swindon Road closed on Friday 18 February due to storm.
In response to The Met Office severe weather warnings, the council has made the decision to suspend all waste and recycling collections on Friday 18 February, for the safety of residents and collection crews.
If you are due to have a waste collection tomorrow (Friday 18 February) please do not put out your bins or recycling containers, but ensure that they are stored safely until next week.
All collections will be delayed by one day next week, so Friday’s collections will take place on Monday 21, Monday’s collections will take place on Tuesday 22, Tuesday’s collections will take place on Wednesday 23, Wednesday’s collections will take place on Thursday 24, Thursday’s collections will take place on Friday 25, and Friday’s collections will take place on Saturday 26 February.
Please present your containers ready at the kerb for 7am on each day until your collection has been made.
