Cllr Roger Whyborn, Cheltenham’s mayor, has today expressed great sadness following the announcement of the death of HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh:
“Councillors and officers of Cheltenham Borough Council are deeply saddened at the news of the death of HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Our thoughts are with Her Majesty the Queen and all her family at this time.
“As a mark of respect, the flag at the council’s Municipal Offices is being flown at half-mast.”
