The new road layout for Oriel Road and Imperial Square North, Cheltenham, is due to open this afternoon.

Resurfacing and white line painting at Oriel Road is on schedule to finish today, when the new system will be fully open to drivers.

The new layout includes:

  • A new right hand turn from the Promenade junction into Imperial Square
  • A two-way system along Imperial Square North instead of one-way

The new traffic lanes will be marked by bollards to make the new system clear for drivers.
