Leisure-at-cheltenham staff are looking to get people involved in beneficial Beginner and Intermediate Pilates programme, with sessions available from early September.
With limited spaces remaining, Beginner Pilates courses start at 9.30am and 6:30pm, Intermediate courses starting at 7.30pm on Tuesday 9 September.
With the twelve week course costing £66 per person, the sessions are a great opportunity to get involved in a group activity and develop overall body strength and stability.
Intermediate sessions are only available for people who have done a minimum of twelve hours on beginner lessons. Intermediate sessions enable you to re-enforce what you have already learnt, to progress to the next level.
Daniel Brookes, activities coordinator, said: “I can speak from experience that Pilates is a fantastic way to exercise within a group as well as develop overall body strength. It was thoroughly enjoyable and I would encourage people from Cheltenham to look in to it.”
Rowena Hay, cabinet member for healthy lifestyles said: “Pilates is an exercise that can be enjoyed by different ages. Also, the courses at leisure-at make sure all abilities have a chance to try out Pilates, which is great for sports participation for the town.”
