Saturday 22 June, 2pm- 4pm at Cheltenham Animal Shelter
To launch the new mayor’s charity appeal, a tea party is being held at Cheltenham Animal Shelter and everyone is welcome to come along.
On Saturday 22 June from 2pm until 4pm, families can join Mayor Wendy Flynn for delicious cream teas and homemade cakes. There will also be a raffle, a chance to meet the animal shelter’s furry friends and information from the mayor’s chosen charities. This year, the mayor will be supporting Cheltenham Animal Shelter, Victim Support and Hester’s Way Community Project.
Cllr Wendy Flynn said: ‘’I am looking forward to bringing my three chosen charities together to officially launch my fundraising campaign for the year. What better way to do it than with some homemade cake and family fun. I hope that people will come along to join me in raising money.’’
To book a stall for the afternoon or to donate raffle prizes, please call 01242 264108.
