Locations, opening times and disabled access
Cheltenham Borough Council provides public toilets at various town centre, neighbourhood shopping and park locations. The toilets are provided for the convenience of residents and visitors and are free, with the exception of the automated toilet at the Royal Well bus station where a small fee of 20 pence is required to gain entry.
Locations and opening times
Please note that all toilets will be shut on Christmas Day. For further information on opening times and locations, please search our directory of public toilets in Cheltenham.
Radar access for disabled people
The majority of our public toilets have access available for disabled people under the Radar National Key Scheme.
The National Key Scheme (NKS) offers disabled people independent access to locked public toilets around the country. Toilets fitted with NKS locks can now be found in shopping centres, pubs, cafes, department stores, bus and train stations and many other locations in most parts of the country.
Changing Places
There is also a Changing Places toilet facility for use by people with profound and complex disabilities who often need extra equipment and space to allow them to use the toilets safely and comfortably. The Changing Places facility can be found in Pittville Park, near the play area, and is accessed using a RADAR key.
Note: Users will be required to provide their own sling for use with the hoist.
