Volunteering in Cheltenham
People choose to volunteer for a variety of reasons. For some it offers the chance to give something back to the community or make a difference to the people around them. For others it provides an opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge.
Every year many individuals choose to volunteer with Cheltenham Borough Council. Volunteers bring new skills, new ideas and a fresh perspective. Volunteering can be a great way to gain experience, meet people and contribute to services which will make a real difference to the town and its communities.
We have opportunities to volunteer in a wide range of services and activities; from supporting local green spaces to helping out at events in the town, such as Party in the Park.

Groups
If you are a constituted group, with your own public liability insurance cover, that would like to volunteer for Cheltenham Borough Council then please complete the group application form.
One off volunteering
For individuals attending an activity for the first time on a trial basis, before deciding whether to register as a volunteer for Cheltenham Borough Council, please complete the one off volunteer declaration.
