Ubico - delivering our environmental services

Ubico is a company wholly owned by both Cheltenham Borough and Cotswold District Councils and provides a range of environmental services - including waste collection, recycling, and street cleansing - across both areas.

The company has been set up to provide a more efficient and cost effective service, for example by streamlining waste collections across the two areas and getting the best value for recycled materials collected, and should eventually save taxpayers around £700,000 in annual running costs.

As a resident you should not notice any changes to collection arrangements - the same workers are on the same streets performing the same duties.
