Leckhampton and Warden Hill neighbourhood plan
Regulation 16 public consultation - Now closed
Leckhampton with Warden Hill Parish Council have submitted the Leckhampton with Warden Hill draft neighbourhood plan to us for public consultation.
This public consultation ran for six weeks from 29 January until 12 March 2024 to allow the opportunity for interested parties to comment on the plan before it goes to examination.
What happens next?
Following consultation, the comments received will be passed to an independent examiner, who will consider the representations and produce an examination report. The report will assess whether or not the draft plan meets the basic conditions and other legal requirements.

Screening opinion
In November 2022, the council published its opinion on whether further environmental assessment of the Leckhampton and Warden Hill Draft neighbourhood plan was required. This was requested by the neighbourhood area. The council considers that neither a full Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) nor Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA) are required. As per Regulation 11 of the Environmental Assessment of Plans and Programmes Regulations 2004, the documents relating to this decision can be found below:

Neighbourhood area designation
On 15 September 2015, the council’s cabinet approved the designation of a neighbourhood area covering Leckhampton with Warden Hill parish.
The application consisted of the following information:
- A map that identifies the area to which the application relates
- Statements explaining why the area is considered and why the parish council is a ‘relevant body’ for the purposes of neighbourhood planning
