Fees and forms
Fees for applications to discharge conditions can be found on the GOV.UK website.
A fee of £116 (or £34 for householder planning permissions) is payable per submission to discharge the requirements of a planning condition.
As an example, a condition of a planning permission for an industrial building might require details of a landscaping scheme to be submitted for approval. A fee of £116 would be payable when the landscaping details were formally submitted to the council for approval. This fee could also cover other details submitted for approval at the same time, so if the same permission also included a condition for details of bricks to be agreed, these could be covered by the same fee if submitted simultaneously with the landscaping scheme. If the brick details were submitted for approval at a later date, accompanied by the appropriate application form, a further £116 fee would be payable.
Where confirmation of compliance with a condition or conditions attached to a grant of planning permission is requested, a fee will be required. Where the planning permission relates to a householder development the fee will be £34; all other developments will be £116. These fees are not subject to VAT and the fee will be refunded if a response has not been received within 12 weeks from receipt of payment. We endeavour to deal with confirmation requested within 10 working days from receipt of payment. Payment must be received prior to confirmation being provided.
