Tennis courts can be found in the picturesque areas of Montpellier Gardens and Pittville Park.

Playing tennis in the park is an accessible and affordable way to have fun, enjoy exercise and meet people, whatever your age or playing ability. There are three tennis courts at Pittville Park and six at Montpellier Gardens. These are run by Tennis In The Park Cheltenham and are available all year round.

Booking a court

Tennis In The Park Cheltenham offers two simple choices of how to play:

• Your whole household can play at both sets of courts for a one off cost of £45 per year
• Book one court at a time for £6.90 per hour

You can buy an annual access code or book a court on the In The Park website.

Coaching

The courts have dedicated coaches who are supported by East Glos Tennis. Professional, friendly and fully qualified, they offer a mix of adult and junior coaching sessions as well as private coaching visit the Coaching In The Park web pages for more details.

Montpellier Gardens

The six tennis courts are located within the gardens and tennis can be booked and paid for online by going to the In The Park website. You can also book courts at the Garden Cafe in person when the café is open.

Pittville Park

The three tennis courts are located near the Boathouse next to the skate park. Tennis can be booked and paid for online by going to the In The Park website or at the Boathouse in person when it's open.
