Changes to waste and recycling collections
Please check the changes to bin collections over the Christmas and New Year period.
Garden waste collections will be suspended at the end of the day on Friday 20 December 2024. Collections will restart from Monday 20 January 2025.

Recycling centre prolonged closure
Our household recycling centre with be closed for an extended period from 10 January 2025. The closure will allow us to carry out a review of Cheltenham’s waste and recycling service. The review has been prompted by changing legislation and enhanced kerbside collection services. Find out more about the closure.
